When we talk about fashion in Italy, we cannot fail to mention the city par excellence that stands as the capital of Italian fashion: Milan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, the city of Milan is ready to host Milan Fashion Week<\/strong>, which will take place from 12 January 2024 <\/strong>and continue until 16 January 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This edition, dedicated to men, will feature: twenty-two physical fashion shows, five digital fashion shows, thirty-two presentations and no less than eight events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fashion shows will be available live on the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) website, confirming the great success of this mode of transmission worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Milan Fashion Week full of debuts and great returns<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For several years now, Milan Fashion Week has offered space to new generations who want to showcase themselves by bringing great novelties and striking transformations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the young Italian designers<\/strong> ready to make a name for themselves, bringing their collections and novelties, we find:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Domenico Orefice<\/strong>, Institution By Galib Gassanoff who, after parting ways with his business partner Luca Lin, with whom he designed Act N\u00b01, is preparing to inaugurate a new solo cycle, LaTorre, Mordecai by Ludovico Bruno<\/strong>, a brand born only a few months ago, Noskra, Rubeus Milano, Stuart Weitzman<\/strong> who for the first time presents a line dedicated to men, ViaPiave33, Woolrich Black Label By Todd Snyder.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another important name that will be present at the fashion week is Stone Island,<\/strong> which will be showing for the first time during a fashion week with what President Carlo Capasa described as “more than just a fashion show”. Lastly, the Pronounce brand, led by the duo formed by Yushan Li and Jun Zhou who divide their time between Milan and Shanghai, will join this list of firsts on Sunday 14 January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Big comebacks such as Fendi, Gucci and JW Anderson<\/strong> were welcomed with great enthusiasm, increasing the value of the fashion week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JW Anderson<\/strong> returns to Milan after having “put aside” a season in which he had preferred London as the venue for his spring summer 2024 show. Similarly, Fendi<\/strong>, which had been “loaned” to Florence for the summer edition of Pitti Uomo, decided to present again in the Lombard capital. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, Gucci<\/strong>, which had introduced the previous collection with a presentation and event to celebrate the seventieth anniversary of the Gucci Horsebit loafers, will show us the man designed by creative director Sabato De Sarno, right at the start of the entire event. Not only with fashion shows, returns will also come in the form of presentations with C.P. Company, Church’s, and Philippe Model Paris<\/strong> under the new creative direction of Tuomas Merikoski.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goals of Milan Fashion Week<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This year, one of the many objectives of Fashion Week is to celebrate the connection between the city and fashion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, this edition’s promotional campaign, created by Carmine Romano with styling by Roberta Astarita, <\/strong>had as its location one of the places that mostly provides the image of Milanese dynamism: the underground. In particular, the Missori stop of the M3 welcomed the four models featured in the shots wearing, once again, the names of the new generation, namely Mordecai, Gams Note, MTL Studio, ViaPiave33, Federico Cina and \u00c7anaku.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The comment of the President of the National Chamber for Italian Fashion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

“Creativity\u0300, innovation, quality\u0300 and sustainability\u0300 are the main levers for the continuous development of the Italian fashion system. The Fashion Week calendar that we are presenting today is full of appointments that demonstrate Italian leadership in men’s fashion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forecasts for the end of the year 2023 indicate a 4% growth in turnover for the Italian fashion industry, totalling approximately EUR 103 billion. Of the clothing and accessories turnover of 11 billion, 20% is represented by men’s collections, up 5% compared to last year. These are encouraging signs and a confirmation of the strength of our brands and of Made in Italy in the world,” said Carlo Capasa<\/strong>, President of the National Chamber for Italian Fashion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All that remains is to wait and be amazed, starting on 14 January, by the Milan Fashion Week 2024 men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
