“Vasco Live Tour 2024” is here at last! Fans of “Blasco” or the “Komandante” can rejoice as the singer kicked off his tour on Sunday, June 2nd, at the Municipal Stadium in Bibione (VE). Thousands from across Italy came to see Vasco Rossi, a timeless hero for at least three generations.

In Bibione, Vasco shared on social media: “My dad took his first and only vacation here with my mom and uncles, Damiano and Espedita. My parents bought a small apartment, which I used for a secret romantic weekend with my girlfriend at the time. I’ll never forget the ride back to Bologna on my Honda 750. It started raining and never stopped. We were so soaked and frozen that I decided to take the train home and sell the bike. Despite the rain and cold, I have great memories of Bibione and that trip. I’m so happy to be here.”

But it’s not just about memories. “We are against war,” he told the crowd, “against all wars. Music is against war.” With his unique style and rock that moves you, Vasco continues to inspire, even in the pouring rain. It’s the kind of experience worth camping out for, or resting on someone’s shoulders while waiting for the gates to open.

We’re looking at a setlist featuring 26 tracks. Notable comebacks include “Blasco Rossi” and “Asilo Republic,” absent from the Italian singer’s live performances since 2018 and 2019 respectively. “Vivere Senza te” and “Jenny è pazza” hadn’t been heard since 2010, while “Basta poco” makes a return to the setlist after 17 years.

During the Bibione concert, Vasco Rossi brought Claudio Golinelli, his long-standing bassist until 2018, on stage. Together, they performed “Siamo solo noi.” Additionally, Rossi debuted his live performance of the single “Gli sbagli che fai”, released in December alongside the Netflix series “Il supervissuto”.
