Voiello brings the spirit of Naples to Milan with the ‘Miez’ a via’ event to be held on Wednesday 21 June in Milan’s Navigli district from 6pm onwards.

After being one of the Official Sponsors of Procida Italian Capital of Culture 2022, the famous Campania-based pasta company continues to consolidate its role as an ambassador of Neapolitan culture around the country with the new Voiello Miez’ a via event, which will be held to coincide with the official start of summer 2023.

MIEZ’ A VIA will be a real street party, where the Neapolitan creativity and inspiration will be highlighted in an unprecedented location, that of the Milanese Navigli.
A free event, open to all, in which the Voiello company will present its new pasta format, the Gran Penna Rough: “Neither smooth nor striped but rough which is a poem”. Made with only Grano Aureo 100% Italian and bronze drawn, it is a candidate to become the new icon of the exuberant pleasure of pasta as Naples commands.

From 19.00 on the ground floor of the facade of a building of the Alzaia Naviglio Pavese, at number 2, the Milanese can experience the exuberant pleasure of pasta in the street gastronomy Voiello: gourmet recipes created for Voiello by Lino Scarallo, starred Chef of Palazzo Petrucci (NA).

To participate in the tasting miez’ a via, just register online at voiello.it/miezavia or access the registration via QR code located in installations located near the event location.
For those who have registered, it will be possible to collect free (while supplies last) a branded tote bag, containing a pack of the Great Rough Pen.

Miez’ a via is not just food

As in any self-respecting street party, there will be so much good food, but not only!
Will be present the master Beppe Vessicchio, symbol of a Naples of great cultural value, able to cross and unite different generations and from 21:30, the balconies of the palace all’Alzaia Naviglio Pavese 2 will turn into real stages.

Will perform the singer-songwriter DADA’, who with her music combines Neapolitan culture to international world music, with electronic influences and Livio Cori, rapper and actor of Neapolitan origin, also famous for starring in the series Gomorrah. Two very beloved artists who have their roots in the capital of Naples.

The event Miez’a via will give voice to the many forms of Neapolitan creativity through the illustrations made by The Napolitaners, a collective of artists from Campania, exposed already in the days before the event near the location and that interpret the spirit of Neapolitan festivals, made of magic, music, gastronomy and lights.

In addition, for the occasion will be visible preview of the collection capsule collection created specifically for Miez’a via by the Vienmnsuonno1926, a collective of young Neapolitan designers who, through their fashion creations, promote a new “landtelling” of the Neapolitan districts. The capsule collection will then be the protagonist of an online contest on the Instagram channel @Voiello: from 22 to 30 June Voiello will give the chance to win some items of the most volcanic summer collection.

Miez’ a via promises, in short, an event not to be missed, where different expressions of Neapolitan culture will intertwine to create a festive and exuberant mix, so as to give an unforgettable evening participants of the event on the Navigli Milanese.
